Waitangi Day Celebrations
We had a great afternoon celebrating Waitangi Day through a variety of activities including Koru mural making, STEM collaboration, Rakau, NZ Sign Language for the NZ National Anthem, and Taniwha design.
All our students rotated around six amazing activities in groups that had participants from Y1 - Y8, focussing on whakawhanaungatanga. This is a concept based on collaboration, team work and building strong relationships with each other.
