Term 4 Principals Morning Tea Outing

Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking 12 students to the Solway Cafe & Driving Range for a swim and hit of golf,  followed by a lovely morning tea. They are a great bunch of children and thoroughly deserved to be our Term 4 'Principals Morning Tea' recipients by being excellent role models of our Gladstone School rules and values throughout the term.

21st Century Learning - Thank you FOGS & BOT

It was an exciting day on Wednesday the 15th October 2014 when our new ICT equipment arrived at school. This included 7 ipads for Room 5, 7 ipads for Room 4, 2 ipads for Room 2 and the upgraded iMac pod of computers being gifted to Room 2, 12 Chromebooks for Room 3 and 2 ipads for Room 3, 2 ipads for Room 6 to go with the one to one laptops they have already in that classroom. These fantastic resources were made available as a result of our hard working fundraising group, Friends Of Gladstone School who gave the school $13,000. We are also grateful to our  BOT who have ensured funding is available to support the technician aspect of getting this equipment integrated and professional learning opportunities made available for our staff to provide purposeful learning opportunities.
