As part of their water investigation
Room 2 took action
By putting some signs by
our drains to let people know
that only water goes down the drains
and not rubbish.  this included
making pictures of the

ANZAC Service 2018

As ANZAC Day falls in the school holidays on the 25th April 2018, we held our Gladstone School ANZAC Service at 9.10am today, Friday the 13th April 2018 .  We were very fortunate to have Mr Bob Hill President of the RSA support
our senior students to run this event. Mr Hill spoke about the significance of ANZAC
and later answered questions form the children.

The Y8 students took the wreaths and flowers down to the War Memorial following our service later in the morning.

Waitangi Day Celebrations

We had a great afternoon celebrating Waitangi Day through a variety of activities including Koru mural making, STEM collaboration, Rakau, NZ Sign Language for the NZ National Anthem, and Taniwha design.

All our students rotated around six amazing activities in groups that had participants from Y1 - Y8, focussing on whakawhanaungatanga. This is a concept based on collaboration, team work and building strong relationships with each other.
