The juniors had a great afternoon in the pool on Friday, sharing their swimming skills with friends and whanau. The teachers are very proud of our Y1 & Y2 development in water confidence over the term

Annual School BBQ

Thank you to all the families who joined us for the recent Gladstone School community BBQ. What a great evening it was having the opportunity to catch up with so many of our school whanau. A special thank you to our fantastic FOGS committee for their generous donations of sausages and bread.

Waitangi Day Celebrations

We had a great afternoon celebrating Waitangi Day through a variety of activities including Koru mural making, STEM collaboration, Rakau, NZ Sign Language for the NZ National Anthem, and Taniwha design.

All our students rotated around six amazing activities in groups that had participants from Y1 - Y8, focussing on whakawhanaungatanga. This is a concept based on collaboration, team work and building strong relationships with each other.
